Formicary is the work.

Formicary is a set of small, public experiments on whether the artifact-shaped techniques regulated industries spent forty years building do anything to make AI-written code hold up over time. It is applied research, run in the open, by someone who has had to live inside those standards.

I am Adrian Rossouw. For the last five years I was VP of Information Systems and Product at Renalytix, leading the technology organisation behind an FDA De Novo-authorized AI diagnostic, running a software group under ISO 13485 and ISO 27001, and shipping production EHR integrations with major US health systems. I have been audited under these standards.

The site under-labels and over-delivers, on purpose. The numbers, when they come, will be ordinary numbers on questions almost everyone has an opinion about and very few have measured. The contribution is the measurement, not the discovery. I would rather publish honest results on obvious questions than novel speculation on hard ones.
